Dr. Terrianne Schulte is an Associate Professor of History in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at D鈥橸ouville University in Buffalo, New York. Specializing in American environmental and political history, her current research explores the life of Helen Dortch Longstreet, an advocate for environmental preservation and civil rights in the early twentieth century, who led an extraordinary campaign to save Tallulah Falls in the north Georgia mountains (known as the 鈥淣iagara of the South鈥). Dr. Schulte teaches courses on Environmental History, American Government, Civil War and Reconstruction, Founding the American Republic, and the History of Constitutional Law.
