顿鈥橸辞耻惫颈濒濒别 Receives $10,000 Grant from NetVUE
顿鈥橸辞耻惫颈濒濒别 announced that it is the recipient of a (NetVUE) in the amount of $10,000. The grant will go towards supporting the development of a new first year experience course.
The course will be featured as part of the new general education curriculum. Titled 鈥淟ife Unpacked,鈥 this credit-bearing course is designed to help 顿鈥橸辞耻惫颈濒濒别 students be academically successful and fully-immersed in the life of the College.
鈥With the support of this award, students in this course will also be encouraged to consider their life鈥檚 purpose,鈥 says President Lorrie Clemo. 鈥In this way, 顿鈥橸辞耻惫颈濒濒别 students are not only given the professional skills necessary to serve in their chosen professions, but also encouraged to discover their calling and create a meaningful identity.鈥
NetVUE Professional Development Awards are intended to deepen the intellectual and theological exploration of vocation by supporting the professional development of faculty and staff members. These awards are made possible by a generous grant to the (CIC) from .

"This award provides us with an opportunity to do so. We are humbled to receive this grant and we look forward to our ongoing partnership.鈥
The Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE) is a nationwide network of colleges and universities formed to enrich the intellectual and theological exploration of vocation among undergraduate students.
In April, 顿鈥橸辞耻惫颈濒濒别 announced joining the NetVUE network, becoming the first member from the Western New York area to do so.
