��’Y�dzܱ��������� Receives $10,000 Grant from NetVUE

��’Y�dzܱ��������� announced that it is the recipient of a  (NetVUE)  in the amount of $10,000. The grant will go towards supporting the development of a new first year experience course. 

The course will be featured as part of the new general education curriculum. Titled “Life Unpacked,” this credit-bearing course is designed to help ��’Y�dzܱ��������� students be academically successful and fully-immersed in the life of the College.

“With the support of this award, students in this course will also be encouraged to consider their life’s purpose,” says President Lorrie Clemo. “In this way, ��’Y�dzܱ��������� students are not only given the professional skills necessary to serve in their chosen professions, but also encouraged to discover their calling and create a meaningful identity.” 

NetVUE Professional Development Awards are intended to deepen the intellectual and theological exploration of vocation by supporting the professional development of faculty and staff members. These awards are made possible by a generous grant to the (CIC) from .  

“Inspired by our mission, ��’Y�dzܱ��������� seeks not only to educate, but also to transform the lives of our students,” says Jeff Papia, chief mission officer of the Roche Center of Mission Integration at D'Youville. "This award provides us with an opportunity to do so. We are humbled to receive this grant and we look forward to our ongoing partnership.” 

The Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE) is a nationwide network of colleges and universities formed to enrich the intellectual and theological exploration of vocation among undergraduate students.

In April, ��’Y�dzܱ��������� announced joining the NetVUE network, becoming the first member from the Western New York area to do so.
