Hemophilia and other bleeding disorders are lifelong conditions that require continuous treatment. Patients typically administer medication through intravenous infusion or subcutaneous injection to replace clotting 鈥渇actors鈥 that their bodies do not naturally produce. These genetic conditions often affect multiple generations within families and require long-term care coordination.
WNYBC participates in the federal 340B drug pricing program and holds Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation from URAC (Utilization Review Accreditation Commission)鈥攁 designation that reflects adherence to nationally recognized standards for quality and safety.
