D鈥橸ouville University announced today that total enrollment for Fall 2025 has reached 2,893 students, marking a significant increase from 2,556 students in Fall 2024,  an overall growth of 13 percent in just one year. The surge reflects D鈥橸ouville鈥檚 expanding academic offerings, growing reputation for healthcare and leadership education, and strategic initiatives that continue to attract students from across the region and beyond.

Undergraduate and Graduate applications for 2026 are running well ahead of last year to date, further confirming prospective student interest in D鈥橸ouville鈥檚 academic offerings and career pathways.

Graduate enrollment saw especially strong gains, rising from 1,298 to 1,567 students, a 21 percent increase year over year. Much of that growth is driven by high-demand healthcare programs, including:

  • Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner, up from 279 to 366 students (31% increase)
  • Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, up from 148 to 236 students (59% increase)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN Online), up from 18 to 101 students (461% increase)

D鈥橸ouville鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Business Management also continues to strengthen, growing 21% as part of the university鈥檚 expanding portfolio of business and leadership programs.

Momentum across the university has been further fueled by two major initiatives: the launch of the D鈥橸ouville University College of Medicine, Western New York鈥檚 first osteopathic medical school, and the university鈥檚 expansion to 22 NCAA Division II athletic programs, which has expanded recruitment reach and enhanced the student experience.

鈥淭his remarkable growth is the result of intentional planning, innovation, and a shared belief in D鈥橸ouville鈥檚 mission to prepare practice-ready leaders who make a difference in their communities,鈥 said D鈥橸ouville University President Dr. Lorrie Clemo, 鈥淎s we continue to expand academic programs, open new facilities, and elevate the student experience, we鈥檙e not just growing in numbers, we鈥檙e building momentum that will strengthen Western New York鈥檚 future.鈥

With the inaugural class of the College of Osteopathic Medicine set to begin in Fall 2026 and interviews for prospective medical students already underway, D鈥橸ouville is continuing its upward trajectory as one of the fastest-growing health sciences universities in the region.
